What price celebrity? It is difficult to put a price on cars that have celebrity associations or media exposure on TV Shows. Both tend to boost prices significantly.
Examples of celebrity cars that spring to mind are Princess Diana’s 1985 Ford Escort RS which sold last year for £722,000 and Marilyn Monroe’s black 1956 Ford Thunderbird which made $500,000.
Three cars featured in the next Classic Car Auctions sale have all had their moment in the media spotlight on Goblin Works Garage and our own Mike Brewer’s Wheeler Dealers, and may well find new owners at an enhanced price thanks to this cachet.
