BMW owners should be aware that they might have a Modern Classic on their hands that they could cash in on, given the growing interest in such cars, say CCA Auctions.

Similarly, 325s and others of this brand have moved on too. Some BMW 8 Series have also sold for more than £100,000, so here at Classic Car Auctions we were wondering which of the more recent models are likely to be the next to catch this growing wave of interest.”

2011 BMW M3 Coupé (E92)
The last naturally-aspirated M3, the last V8-powered M3 and the last M3 built in Coupé form, the E92 is undoubtedly a collectable modern-classic. GUIDE PRICE: £22,000 – £27,000. Superbly presented example of the legendary V8 performance coupé with just 46,400 miles.
2002 Z3 Roadster (E36/7)
Gary says: ”Likewise, the Z3, a sensation when launched and little sister to the now famed Z3M Coupé, has not yet reached its zenith and maybe these cars are ready to become the next point of focus as an affordable modern classic?”
This late example, the two-door E36/7 roadster finished in Hellrot II (Bright Red) was UK-mainland supplied, in right-hand drive. Powered by the M43B19 in-line-four, 1.9i offering the driver 117bhp at 5,550rpm. Four former registered keepers and just 36,000 miles from new. Smart engine bay and black leather interior. All in all, this is a very impressive little Z3. Offered without reserve.
