Showcase also includes Bike Pride of Ownership competition with private owners invited to enter.

After wowing the crowds last year, motorbike Trial legend Dougie Lampkin will return by popular demand to this year’s Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, held at Birmingham’s NEC from 10-12 November.

Dougie Lampkin, who amassed twelve individual motorbike Trial world titles over the years, will be looking to ‘up the ante’ on last year’s Trial demonstrations. 2022 also featured his son and fellow Trial rider Alfie who came fourth in this year’s FIM World Championship Trial 3 class.

World Trials legend Dougie Lampkin returns as part of the Classic Motorbike Showcase at NEC“I had a great time at the show last year and I’m very excited to be coming back, especially to see the motorbike showcase grow,” Dougie enthuses. “One of the highlights for me in 2022 was the Bike Pride of Ownership so I can’t wait to see even more bikes battle it out for the Best in Show trophy in November. Get your entries in now and show me your bike!”

The Bike Pride of Ownership invites private owners to enter their road and racing motorcycles as well as scooters into a competition to find the best bike in show.

Owners will be asked to display their pride and joy for all three of the show days, getting two entry tickets per day and free parking throughout. Those wishing to enter should complete the entry form and return with two pictures of the motorcycle/scooter being entered. The form can be found here.

While all motorbike entrants will also be given a commemorative certificate of participation, the top three will receive a certificate and trophy as well as a goody bag.

All the entrants will be judged over the three days by our secret judging panel with Dougie announcing the winner on Sunday afternoon.
