After enjoying some time together at the recent Classic Motor Show, The Late Brake Show’s Jonny Smith visited Mike Brewer for some ‘Idol Chat’.
Our own Mike Brewer, Mr Wheeler Dealers, invited The Late Brake Show’s Jonny Smith to visit his private lock up and sat down in the infamous ‘brown chairs’ as Jonny interviewed Mike about his family, trolls, Wheeler Dealers and of course… Edd China.
Of course, Jonny is a car man just like Mike so was fascinated by the cars in Mike’s private collection, all housed in the now named ‘Car Cathedral’. Car by car, vehicle by vehicle, the fellas share their passion for motoring and their stories of buying and selling cars.
Jonny and Mike have known each other for over 20 years and their paths have crossed many times, although they had never worked together until the NEC season finale in November.
Both have worked with racing driver Jason Plato though, who has also been interviewed by Jonny, and is one of Mike’s closest friends (and his daughter’s godfather).
Edd China, the original Wheeler Dealers mechanic, and his replacement Ant Anstead have also had their time in the chair with Jonny so maybe Marc ‘Elvis’ Priestley will be next!
Former Fifth Gear presenter Jonny Smith is renowned for his passion for modified vehicles and now hosts The Late Brake Show on YouTube.
The Late Brake Show was launched in 2020 and is an eclectic automotive entertainment YouTube channel and digital platform. With over 430k subscribers, Jonny and his team find and review a whole host of vehicles from brand new to barn finds.
