Jay Leno’s huge garage is full of exotic cars that stand out for their high-capacity engines and superlative performance. It is claimed he owns over 170 classic cars and over 150 motorcycles. His very first automobile was a 1934 Ford V-8 truck, which he restored himself at age 14.But the title of the rarest car in Jay’s garage goes to the 1931 Shotwell, a three-wheeled vehicle created by a 17-year-old boy that Leno keeps in mint condition for road use.
On an episode of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (1992), he claimed that he got in his first auto accident a mere 81 hours after getting his driver’s license.
